MLK MARCH - ROUTE DETAILS
The march begins at 1323 W. Third Street at approximately 10:00am and ends at the Dayton Convention Center at about 10:45am. The streets involved in the main march route will be closed to traffic.
The following streets will be closed to all vehicular traffic:
- West Third Street from Paul Laurence Dunbar Street to Edwin C. Moses Blvd.
- Broadway from Second Street to Fourth Street
- Edwin C. Moses Boulevard from Washington to Third Street
- Robert Drive from Third Street to Fifth Street
- Fourth Street from Wilkinson to Robert Drive
- Perry Street from Third Street to Fifth Street
- Wilkinson Street from Fourth Street to Fifth Street

YWCA Dayton will honor seven local women during its 2020 Women of Influence awards! This year marks the 23rd anniversary of the award; with an average attendance of 800, it is the single largest daytime nonprofit luncheon in Dayton. Since 1998, the YWCA Dayton WOI Awards have recognized and honored more than 160 women and organizations who have made a difference in our community through their dedication to the YWCA mission of empowering women, eliminating racism, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. 2020 Honorees include: Maribeth Graham, retired administrator, Iddings Foundation; Peggy Lehner, Ohio Senator; Marya Rutherford Long, vice president – community and economic development manager, Fifth Third Bank; Jane Marx, vice president/controller, Culmen Real Estate Services; Julia Reichert, independent filmmaker; and Becky Sorrell, director, Preble County Job and Family Services. Additionally, Jenell Ross, president & CEO, Bob Ross Auto Group, will be honored with the 2020 Women of Influence Lifetime Achievement Award.
